| Welcome to the home of Cedar Sasquatch Mastiffs. Our mastiffs are very special to us. Each one is a part of our family. We currently live with 4 mastiffs, a whippet and an Italian greyhound. None of our dogs are kennel dogs, they live inside our home with us. Each is a valued family member with a great deal of love and very individual personalities to share with anyone who is interested. They are pets and companions first and foremost! They are included in as many family activities and “dog” activities as possible. Our dogs can be seen frequently at area lakes, parks, dog shows, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and at various dog training classes. We breed selectively and occasionally have puppies available to loving, stable, companion and show homes. Once a breeding is planned, it will be posted on the “Planned Breedings” page of this site. All of our puppies leave our home with written contracts, after being thoroughly examined by our veterinarian and micro-chipped. Our contract spells out our responsibilities as the puppy’s breeder as well as the new owner’s responsibilities. The contract is directed back to doing everything possible to ensure the puppy lives a long, healthy, safe and secure life. If for any reason, at any time, you can no longer care for your mastiff, we will take him/her back. Breeding PhilosophyWe strongly believe that a mastiff should be built from the “inside out”. Of utmost importance are the structure and the mind of the dog. At Cedar Sasquatch Mastiffs we do as much research on our dogs ancestors as possible. We look for things such as longevity, health history and temperaments. We also OFA test our dogs. We firmly believe that mastiffs are working dogs and should be agile, sound, working dogs. We love our dogs and the puppies they produce. It is important that we give them the best start possible for a long, healthy, happy life. There are many more reasons not to breed than there are to breed.
